2024-12-02 - cleaning house
Dear reader,
I write to you to remind myself of why I am writing this to begin with - I know this web log is casual in nature. It's more of a true captain's log than it is anything with higher prosaic ambition. Be that as it may, this is still some kind of document, so what am I documenting?
I suppose the fact that we're moving through time and space and different thoughts will occupy the dome on different days. We are a constant but change subtly day-to-day. I want to remember, and for everyone to know, they aren't alone in some of these tedious selfish thoughts.
Ugh...
I wanted to have a bigger dedicated post for Jeff's birthday yesterday - but I was really struggling with the Sunday feels. I've been scooping myself back together today and decided on my own personal advent calendar for this holiday month.
I've been frustrated by inability to thoroughly clean my entire home for a while now. Not just tidy up, but wreck and order the entire organizational structure of my belongings. Old maids (singleton socks) got to go. Organize my cable collection by computer and audio - that sort of thing.
So to help keep my promise, I'll update this weblog daily with what's been done for the day. Today was the top dresser drawer. I've also done some generic tidying, which will make up for yesterday's slack.
